    Howdy,
I have now had my X10 for a week and am quite happy with it in the main. The only problem i seem to have, is it sometimes reboots when i try to use the camera. It first did it before i had any marketplace apps on, so i don't think its due to something i installed.
It happens when i try to open the camera, and it has also happened when the shopsavvy app tried to start the camera.
Is it a fixable problem, or do i need to get the phone sent back?
    Cheers

    Glenn

I have also had this problem. I found the camera button on the side wasn't very good so i added the camera widget to the screen. I'v found about three times that the phone has rebooted when i opened the camera. I am sending mine for a replacement as there are a few other problems but from reading posts i dont think this will make any difference.

Not happened once guess it's either a dodgy phone or dodgy network firmware.

    What Network are you on?

I'm on T-Mobile as well and have exactly the same issue. As I'm not really going to be using the camera much, and everything else works well, I've decided to leave it and hope that an update fixes the problem.

Hmm well it could be that the T-Mobile Firmware is causing the problem?.

You could try debranding your phone.

I am on Orange and have not experienced the fault.

I emailed sony about this issue as i had seen others complaining about it.
    Got my reply today:

    Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for contacting the Sony Ericsson support centre.
We are sorry to hear of the issue you are having with your handset.
At present, we are waiting on a software update being made available from our website. This should fix the issue you have experienced.
To carry out the update you will need internet access and a USB cable. It may be the case that user data is lost during this upgrade. We therefore recommend backing up any data to your SIM card, Memory Stick, or PC before upgrading.
Please follow the steps below to download and install the update service software:
    1. Go to www.sonyericsson.com/support
    2. Select UK
    3. Select your model of handset
    4. Click on Sony Ericsson Update Service
    5. Click the link, and then click Run or Save.
    6. Let the Sony Ericsson Update Service install.
Once you have installed the Sony Ericsson Update Service you will need to launch it. Once it opens simply follow the instructions that you will see on screen. The update should then begin.

I tried it this morning, but i don't think the update is live yet.
It said my software was up to date, but the email said they were *waiting* on a software update so hopefully it will be soon.
