    Hi board,

Has anyone else had their milestone randomly reboot?

This seems to have happened since 2.0.1 was installed.

It has happened 3 times today and twice yesterday, prior to 2.0.1 there was no unexpected restarts.

    hi all !

i've installed the 2.0.1 since its availibility in france several weeks ago.
i DO have a lot (daily) random reboots, as i tried to explain here :

    https://supportforums.motorola.com/thread/23631

but also at other moments where i'm not playing music.

these days i'm trying to be active on the blogs as the moto team is not really concerned.

i'm really hoping 2.1 will solve these problems, otherwise i'll try to return the device as non usable.

try monitoring all the running tasks for a while and see if there is a running app common to the times they restart. i would imagine the only time it will restart will be due to an app malfunctioning. if you can narrow it down to one app or service it might make it easier to solve the problem.

Do you use one of the following: Advanced Task Killer or other Task Manager, Power Manager, Different Homes - Home++, Panda, different Profiles ? ...stop using them for a bit and see what happens... ultimate solution - Hardreset (if you have root don't forget to back-up your data).

    Hi,

I do use advanced task killer, but i am careful of what i select to close (normally just most of the apps which start when the phone starts which i never use).

Strangely though, the re-boot issue seems to have gone away (touch wood) and has not happened for a number of days.

    Thanks for the advice though
