    Hi there,

I'm new to Android, so please forgive me if this is too simple: is there a way to scan qr codes directly in the android browser? I.e. can I use an app link code directly without having toopen the page on another system and to scan it from there?

    TIA

3rd this as well. Definitely needs an app for this, but don't think its possibly as aren't any extensions for the android browser yet?

That save then read app didn't work for me, couldn't get it to open the link, it just displayed it.

    Hi,

You can do this directly from the Android browser using its "Share" feature with an app named "QR Droid".

    AndroLib link
    Market link

    - In the Browser, long-click the image and select "Save image"
    - After downloaded, open image from notification bar
    - Select Menu > Share > "Decode with QR Droid"

    I hope this helps ;)
