Anyone know of an app?

I have an old HTC incredible with dial up. (3g). My girlfriend traded her Motorola Droid (which I have to say was a piece of sh*t) to a Motorola Razr Maxx. Also I have to say that the battery life on that is incredible. I use her Maxx to get on the internet since its 4 times as fast as my Incredible and where we live we can't get cable internet.

I want to know if there is an app that she can receive text messages on her nook tablet (rooted) since I'm using her phone all the time.

Not sure for her tablet, but I do know of apps that do these for laptops. I use Remote Web Desktop to access my SMS straight from my laptop when I'm tethering.

If I understand the question correctly, Google Voice or HeyWire will do what she wants. Rooting not required, but won't hurt.
