    Hi there

Does anybody know of/have any recommendations for software for a Linux PC to manage Android phones?

Something that would just allow backing up the phone, managing content etc. In general drag-and-drop is great, but it'd be nice to have something more structured too. In particular, a store for old SMS and notes etc. I know you can use cloud syncing for a lot of this sort of thing.

I remember when I had Windows and a Sony Ericsson W810i, there was a freeware program called MyPhoneExplorer that was brilliant for this sort of task.

    Just a thought, anyway.

NB: Ubuntu version is 10.04 LTE, phone is an HTC Desire running Froyo (UK O2 branded).
