Registering with samsung/coupon

Hey Guys,
Noob here. Not sure if this has been covered but if you register your samsung device on samsungs website youll get a coupon code for 50% off up to five items. The coupon says it only works on items up to $49.99 but I managed to get the oem case with the discount too. Figured I'd pass it along as the oem accessories sell for a premium and anything half off is a deal.

I've been lurking for while and learned a lot from many of you. Blanket thank you.

I went and tried to follow link in this forum about 50 dollars or something if you register it but went and you had to have purchased it around Nov of last year and I have just gotten mine. Is this a new promo or something?

Not sure if its a new promo. Once I registered, the email address I used in registering received a coupon code. This was two days ago. It was a promo for registering, not for buying the device.
