    Hi,
I am new to Android and have the following problem: When I get a sms I get a notification in the upper bar. I scroll down the bar and access the sms by clicking on it. Now I can read the incoming sms in the bubble but the notification does not go away. I have to click on the bubble to get the complete sms (even if its only a short text) so the notification goes away.

I think this is really stupid that I have to actually click on the bubble (even if I already can read the whole text) so the notification goes away.

In other words: I want it to act the same way as the iPhone. Is there any way?

Have you tried the back button instead of the home button...?

Using the back button could make the notification goes away but the notification should goes away naturally when just clicking the message in the notification bar, the default behavior sounds stupid.
