So there are a bunch of apps that I have no desire to see on a regular basis. This is my first android phone (coming from a BB) and I could usually remove apps from the listing of core apps in the desktop software, but haven't learned how to do this with the Android OS.
The specific apps I'm talking about are the ones that came on the phone like Twitter, Flickr, and Peep. Any help?

not without rooting... and not sure if that's possible then or not. I've never rooted an Android phone (yet)... hopefully one day

most of the time you don't want to truly "remove" anything, but you can "comment out" any app and prevent it from starting up or consuming any resources.

You can't do it without root access. Removing or commenting out/renaming.
