Removing unused folders on SD Card.Support

    I noticed when I uninstall something on my phone it doesn't necessarily delete the folders associated with it on my SD Card. Is there an app that can clear unused folders/data?

    Some of the names of these folders on the card don't correlate with any app, so I don't know what can be deleted. I sure don't want to delete something that my Evo might need.

    Download "Astro" file manager, navigate to where the folder is, touch "Multi" on the menu, touch the bad folder so the check mark on the left turns orange, then tap "Delete".

    create a folder on your sdcard.. name it anything you like.. ex: ForDeletting

    move any folders you think are useless in to that new folder.
    use your phone as normal...if you get any errors.. you will know it is needed and move it back
    if not.. you can delete it.

    start astro
    get to your sdcard

    menu
    new

    root explorer is what i use, it doesnt have some of the limitations that astro has, and is also free...
