Rented a movie with google play. Do i have to keep the app?

    My rental is almost over. Once it is, is it necessary to keep the google play movies app? It takes up space.. sorry if it sounds like a stupid question?

    No but if you rent or buy another movie, you'll have to download it again.

    google's play movie app is only as big as what you have downloaded to the device. it really is not very big to begin with. after your rental, if you have not downloaded it to your device, the app should not take much room.
