FYI - Found the following site with replacement housings, Digitizer front panel (choice of with HTC Logo or Verizon Logo) and Battery Door:

The only issue I see with these is that they require a minimum order, with the exception of the battery door.

Yes, they are one-in-the-same (Digitizer panel = glass screen).

Thanks for the help. Any idea what the difficulty of replacing the digitizer is for a novice and if there are any guides out there ?

outside panels are usually easy to replace. keep in mind you will void the warranty though. but not that that should matter b/c verizon might not honor your warranty any way when they see the shattered glass and figure you dropped the phone.

also, in the past something i used to do in the car modding biz was to ask forum mates to go in on a group buy. it seems the only logical thing to do with this situation since they have min quantity on orders.

edit: you could also ebay additional parts. maybe even charge a premium since people could buy them 1 at a time.

Those panels look like they have an extra opening to the left of the logo. Are the new LCD screen Incs getting the oft-rumored front-facing camera?

i also just shattered my screen on my incredible but the phone still works fine i was wondering if to fix this i needed to only buy the housing or the digitizer as well.

Mike - You would need just the digitizer. But keep in mind you are going to have to remove the old digitizer from your original housing (held with adhesive). So it may be easier to just purchase a new housing as well.

silv3r - That's strange. They have two versions; The HTC version (which has the not compatible line below it) and then they have the Verizon version which doesn't have that notice. I wonder where the differences are.

I just shattered my screen and the whole screen is black. what do i need to do to replace it? i cant get any of my stuff off of it. and i want the pics that are on it. what should i do?
