I just picked up a Vitality on the cheap thanks to the Best Buy sale and figured it would be a fun device to work on since it's pretty powerful for a lower end device. I'm familiar enough with the Galaxy S devices, so I've got a basis to start from, but there are enough differences to be interesting. I want to start by making full, flashable stock images, but to ensure I've got it all, it would be useful to have a map of how the raw blocks on Vitality are used. For example, on a Galaxy S, /dev/block/stl9 is the system partition (factoryfs.rfs). On the Vitality, that is /dev/block/stl 12. Obviously, I can dump everything, but it would be a save a lot of time if I knew what was needed in advance. Also, if anyone knows if there is an actual difference between an OPS file and a PIT (or if the PIT files have simple been renamed) it would be appreciated. Thanks.
