Request for Root Notification ThreadGeneral

    I propose that a "Root Notification Thread" be set up, stickied, and closed to further comments until root has been achieved, so that forum-goers may subscribe to notifications for the thread as opposed to obsessively checking back every day or so.

    This seems better than a 3rd party notification solution since android forums already has our email addresses and may be more secure than most other methods.

    It also may assuage the torrents of unwanted children running amok in the forums, who seem to be responsible for the recent craziness.

    +1 on this, good idea, wouldn't mind having a subscription to a thread as opposed to sifting through threads to see if root was done or has made particular progress.
