Reset just the calendar

I accidentally imported 2 versions of a planner on Google Calendar which in turn synced both versions to my EVO. I deleted all the events on Google Calendar but the events are still on the EVO. Removing the calendar and re-adding did nothing. Refreshes and syncs yield zilch. A combination of them was worthless. Is there a way to clear the calendar on the EVO without resetting the entire device?
