So, if I open up TWRP and restore a previous backup, say the original one right after root, then do a factory reset on that after it boots, will the factory reset clear TWRP or will I still need to odin back the stock recovery?

I suspect I still need to odin back the stock recovery. If this is the case, might as well just odin a factory or stock rooted image.

After all the borking I have done with my samsung devices on the windows 7 64bit I am really not keen on trying again. At least if I break the note, I should be able to recover from it, or just reflash a nandroid.
