I currently own the Samsung Moment and at first I loved it. But now, the size is really getting to me. I have had it for 28 days. Should I take it back for the HTC Hero although the Moment has a faster processor? Also if i root the Hero, will it be faster?

There's a couple threads on the vs topic already. Do a topic search on "hero moment" and you'll have a lot of info to sift through.

but what would happen if someone would get there phone updated with a newer verison of android and they have a rooted there cell phone could that not cause a problem?

Hero could not be faster then the moment even if it was rooted

If you're not happy with it, get rid of it. You don't want to be stuck with a phone you hate for 12+ months. Get the Hero or maybe even the Pre, considering it's tiny in comparison.

My rooted Hero with a custom ROM runs circles around my rooted Moment...

But that will change once moment gets android 2.1 update. But is there any possible of future problems for anyone that has root there cell phone?

And the rooted Moment doesn't have a custom rom. It's just that kernel update. Would imagine the full MR would be more efficient as would the 2.1 update on it.

Don't think there are any future issues becauae you can always flash the stock firmware if need be.
