    Do both ports show "Charging (AC)" and not "Charging (USB)" ?

    This is definitely fast AC charging for both, or actually DC since this is input from DC battery.

    Good to hear. I was afraid there might be some apple-specific signaling.

    It seems like the Note 2 shows AC when it's charging at 2A and USB for <1A. Probably they kept it simple like that to avoid confusing people. We know the phone itself doesn't know where the current is coming from.
