    Hi All,
I am new to this so any help appreciated.
In my files I have a ringtone for when a text message is recieved. I cannot seem to understand how I either get that ringtone into the Notifications list of ringtones so I can use it as a general ringtone for ALL text messages ,, OR use that ringtone for certain contacts when they send me a text message.

    Your help greatly appreciated

To set it as a voice ringtone, go to media player, click on the song, press menu and select "set as".

Text message ringtone is more complicated. Go to "My Files". Create a new folder called media in your internal SD card. Inside media create the folder audio, and inside of that create the folder "notifications". Put the files you want to use as inside this folder. Restart your phone. You should now be able to see those files under settings/Sound and Display/Notification ringtone.

Thanks for that but I am a bit of a newby. I have gone into "My Files" & created the the folder "notifications". I have two mp3 music files that I want to put into the "notifications" that are listed in "my files" folder but I am stuck on how to do it. If I click on the mp3 file & then "menu" there are only 4 options "via bluetooth", "share music via", "set as" & "details". Nothing lets me put this file into "notifications" so how do I do It.

Sorry if I sound a bit dumb & thanks for your help
