I've recently updated to JB and now I find the phone has automatically added all my music and all my podcasts (all mp3 files) to the list of available ringtones. Both are stored on the pseudo-SD card memory, in their own subdirectory trees.

I have a few music files which I want to be able to use as ringtones, but I have placed them in the Ringtones directory for that purpose.

Does anyone know how I can prevent all the mp3 files being added to the ringtone list? I have so many now that the list takes ages to load, and won't go past the letter 'M' (I guess that's just where the numerical limit is reached). Is there perhaps a setting I haven't found, lurking somewhere?

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Thanks.
