Hey Android Forums, I now have an android phone on t mobile, This is the best place i could think of to post this but I am considering a trip to an area that is not covered my t mobile but is completely covered by ATT. (But Tmo wont roam on ATT, This area is a COMPLETE BLACK HOLE for most of trip location) I know there is a way to manually connect to a network and all that but can someone school me on how this works technically, links and all would be great. I've googled around but tonight my googlefu is weak. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks! Sincerely, Hax0roni. My phone would be used for GPS directions and such, I have run across problems when we took a trip to another state and hit a large deadzone for about 60 miles and nearly got lost. Any apps that work good without maps data? (Free ones that is, or an app that allows you to cache said data?)

Uhhhh, good luck "manually getting on AT&T's network." Not possible if there isn't already a roaming agreement in place.
