    PLEASE READ THIS FIRST

Due to the fact that I do not have the phone any more this is little I can do to help with trouble shooting, only thing I can recommend is to re-odin the phone after fixing permissions and clearing the dalvik-cache. Hopefully the community members can help each other out.

    Thanks to eschnit81 Mastermind278 BH_Man Nu11u5 and Microhaxo

I am not responsible for any issues you encounter with your phones, do this under your own risk blah blah blah.

I now have my Own sub-forum, please refer there for any problems, please refrain from posting in this thread, this will make it easier to answer questions

Odin basic instructions. For best results it is highly recommend you follow this instructions
    1. Fully Charge Batter
    2. Flash rom
    3. Let battery fully drain
    4. Fully Charge while off

All Roms posted will be PDA files only, extract the rar file and place the md5 in odin pda slot
Tested on Win7 32 bit before post and is recommended that you flash from stock 1.6 or microhaxo's

    Alternate Download Link

Download Link 8/10/10 FINAL (I no longer have the phone but will continue to help out with troubleshooting)

    No f/c reported

    Rom Features:
    1. Take5 Battery Icon and Framework animations
    2. Removal of bloatware
    3. Tone Picker installed to set sd card music as ringtone
    4. Around a day battery life on 2G
    5. Gmail (@ notification replaced with gmail envelope) Market (icon) and Calendar from Galaxy
    6. BH_Man recovery
    7. ROOT
    8. Barnacle fix (Needs to be downloaded, would not work when pushed to system/app)
    9. ADW updated to support themes

    Probably stuff I'm forgetting

To get the best battery life:
    1. Make sure you only flash a rom with a fully charged battery
    2. Use 2g network when not using heavy data
    3. Limit widget use, facebook, scores, and other things with internet access kill battery
    4. Keep the screen as dim as you can while still being able to see it
    5. Turn off wifi when not using
    6. Turn off gps when not using
    7. Use a task killer to kill aps that you are not using
    8. If using something other than gmail, limit the interval the phone syncs with email
    9. Make sure that the camera and camcorder app are closed

Below are QR codes for items that are not included in the rom because they either do not work when put in the system, or are apps I was going to included in future releases.

    Barnacle QR code

If you need a calendar widget
    [IMG]
K-9 Mail if you need something other than just Gmail

    Framework

Framework-res.apk I used for the rom, can be used on Microhaxo's roms
    Framework-res.apk Download (circle battery icon)

Framework-res.apk I put together on 8/15 with Icons from Froyo
    8/15 Framework-res.apk (HTC battery icon)
    Picture and release notes here

    adb push framework-res.apk system/framework/

thanks, there are a few issues that I found and that are posted, didnt have time to fix any of them, I was helping someone get galaxy on their bh2 tonight so tomorrow I plan on tweaking the problems if not it will have to wait until next weekend or random late nights fueled by caffeine

having a problem with root. I flashed your pda file in odin, then flashed the new rooted kernal. Then I did a hard reset. I get permission denied on better terminal, and when I use AdFree Android, I get a prompt saying I do not have root. Did I need to push the new superuser permissions posted on the forum?

ok, did a hard reset this morning, loaded all apps, then reboot the phone. Still getting fc when trying to select an mp3 for a ringtone. Also, I don't seem to have adb access when the phone is on like before. I do have adb access thru recovery.
