I'm on 2.2.1, and occasionally have problems with CM7. Really would like to try this out.
  8. Disappointing this is made for 2.2, pretty small target audience.

Thanks for this, and congrats on the first ROM. I will give this a try.

Oh, what are the symbols and the "90" next to the time?

Thanks. I just took everything I've learned so far and put it in the ROM.

That's exactly why I made it. I've had this phone since late December and never had a reason to upgrade and no one is making 2.2 ROMs.

Try it out. This is way more complete than the other one I gave you.

Those are wifi and cell signal, and the number is battery percentage.
  15. alfick3

    alfick3 Well-Known Member

Ah. Ok. Is that standard, for the battery %? I like that idea much better than using a widget for the battery percentage.

Yeah, that's included in the ROM.

Wonderful! I think I'm going to try it today. I'll let you know how it goes.

Ditto. The CM7 port we have availalbe is too buggy for a daily user. I actually use the phone, and it's frustrating when I need to use a touch tone in a call, and the screen just stays black... 70% of the time, the screen stays black when I need to see it. Very frustrating.

I really appreciate reppard's efforts, but would love some of the features OP included in a solid ROM release.

Well, I have flashed the ROM. The boot did take a long time. It also got to a point where the back and forth light stopped. So far it's just sitting there. I'll continue to watch and see what happens.

Well, all seems to be good. I had a couple of hiccups but got it all worked out. Great looking ROM, thank you for it.

I'm originally 2.2.1, now 2.3.3 because of CyanogenMod7, but I"m interested in this ROm, so someone post some more pictures and maybe a boot animation video, and custom themes they made using this rom.

Ok, so far I've found these two apps to not work:

Gasbuddy (The application GasBuddy (process gbis.gbandroid) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Kill it or Snitch). I've clicked on the snitch button, and hit the Kill it button now a couple of times.

c:geo; I can open it, but when I click on the Live Map button, it gives me (The application c:geo (process carnero.cgeo) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.) message. I can click on the Nearby button and it works.

I'm not sure why they don't work. Gasbuddy won't work at all, c:geo partially works.

This is my home screen:[IMG]Screen Shots

I'm not sure why it's cutting off the bottom.

Okay, I'll dl gasbuddy and see if it works for me. What is c:geo? I've never heard of it. Btw, are you using these with gps on or off?
