ROM size in Galaxy SpicaSupport

    How big is the ROM and RAM in Galaxy Spica? Thanks

    it should be 180 for the rom and 128 for the ram (in mb)

    Meaning that the Eclair ROM size is below 180 mb? since it's possible for Spica users to upgrade to Eclair.

    And if the next Android (FroYo?) ROM size is more than 180 mb, then the FroYo update will not available for Galaxy Spica?

    I suspect we are not using the same terms appropriately. ROM size refers to the amount of internal storage, not the OS's size on the internal storage. As far as I know, cupcake is only about 30-40mb of the available 180, and eclair is slightly bigger than that, perhaps a 50mb of the available 180.

    I seriously doubt the next android release would suddenly double to over 100mb.

    internal memory: 196mb
    Ram: visible: ~146mb , total: ~240-256mb
