Depends what you want, do you want a sense Rom or Nonsense, I myself love AOSP, it is light , no bloatware and sense, and very fast, which is what I want. ;) CM6 is also a good ROM, same as AOSP but a few more bells and whistles. Then there also some good Sense Roms, let us know your preference

Interesting I hadn't thought about that. Well I guess I would have to say I want sense with no bloatware and speed. Thanks

There is also an Android 2.2 with Sense UI ROM in the works. It is almost there, it just has a couple things that are still broken.

I might give that one a try after I try out the AOSP Android 2.2 ROM and the CyanogenMod 6.1 ROM. Let us know what you pick.

Currently I am about to try Froyo 2.2 CM6 Extremely Blue. Blue is my favorite color, that's all I can say about that. Heard some good reviews about it too so we'll see.

I will play with it for a few days and I'll let you guys know what I decide. Thanks for all the help, choosing a ROM is almost like shoe shopping, decisions, decisions. But the color got me first and I'm definitely loving the speed of this thing so far.

    Thanks

I like the Sprint stuff, but not really interested in keeping it. I would go with the Liquid Sense rom, imo;)

Same here, the main reason why most of us rooted anyways, I simply keep LSense as a back up to update profile and Prl

Ok so if and when I decide to flash another ROM do I have to do another Nandroid backup? Will it erase The previous backup?

Yes, I would always do a new Nandroid for each new ROM you flash because you probably spent some time setting up that ROM and you would not want to lose all that work. It will not erase the previous Nandroid backup because it will have a different date in the file name I believe. :)

When in doubt, always do a Nandroid backup. It is a good rule of the thumb to follow and could save you hours of trouble. ;)

And one more thing to add to LBP response, when making your back up, make sure if you happen top rename the back that it has no spaces in it, and once you have created your Nandroid, check it to make sure it is good, sometimes when you rename them you get MD5 checksum error. and if you have had a good working backup and have not made one of that Rom in a longtime because you have been on it for a while and out of the blue you decide you want to test some new Roms, make another fresh back up because since you have changed things from your old back up. I also keep copies on my PC for safe keeping, call me anal, but I feel better

Again when in doubt always backup !!!!!!!

Ah yeah. Good point about copying the Nandroid backup to your PC.

I am definitely doing that too, especially for my initial Nandroid backup. Good call, DonB.
