So is anyone confirming or denying weather or not the droid x will be relativity easy to root???

or is this unknown until the release of the phone

i think this might be the determining factor for me to move from the droid

I think you will be able to partially root just not full root so pretty much not do alot of stuff you want to do with root

/\ This. It appears that there will be some root access for some manipulation, but with the bootloader encrypted (allegedly) you won't be able to flash with custom roms.

It won't be a partial root. It will be full super user access and can do all the things associated with root, except for messing with the boot loader or custom roms, if its encrypted that is.

There should still be ways to add apps like this to the droid x if a root is found.

The only thing that is in question right now is loading completely different customs roms from the "stock" moto one
