Root Root the phone or wait till 2.2 Froyoupdate???

    3 network are dragging their sorry ass on this for my Desire. Ill have no choice but too for the Racer once I fix the touch screen. I'm worried I'll feck up my Desire trying to root it.

    you likely wont fella. no use in giving yourself the boke over it. just bite the bullet and kick its arse into gear. you will be happy you did.

    Many of us are the same situation with T-Mobile.

    I'm now looking into backing up my existing ROM and going ahead with rooting. I just need to read up on it first :)

    Its not only that I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 its seem to much of a minefield. Does it not also effect your phone warranty???
