Root root unsuccessful - black screen on boot - what went wrong?

Now I'm on 1.5. Awesome.

Ok, I'm trying to wait through the black screen to see if it works. I'm told this could take 5-10 mins? Will it do this every time I boot from now on?? Yesterday I forgot to upgrade ext2 to ext3, so I'm hoping it works this time...

it will not do this every time. Once you get your rom on it boots like a normal mytouch.

Close this thread, I didn't wipe before reflashing, that was my mistake.

i didnt do to my touch just switched off and then put to charge. next morning i tried to turn on just "My touch 3G" comes then ANDROID text and then nothing just a blank screen or it comes up back to ANDROID text. who can help me on this issue?

Make sure you wipe all data before flashing your new rom. What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
