Root Rooted Desire, wrong radio?

Hi, I have rooted my desire but its now network locked because the update has the wrong radio in it?

Is there a way to update the radio itself? I am on Orange UK.

I really need help with this folks if possible.

The phone boots fine but is just asking me to unlock it as its network locked.

I downloaded a radio update to flash to the phone but I am unsure how to do it.

copy the radio .img to your sd folder. boot in recovery mode and go on from there. Where did you get the radio update from?
