I just activated a rooted mytouch I bought online that is running CyanogenMod 4.2.11.1 and I can't get the gmail to complete set up. It gives me an error saying that "The application Google Partner Setup (process com.google.android.partisanship) has stopped unexpectedly." When I skip the set up, I can't access gmail or the Market. It does this even after I reset to factory settings. Any ideas?

Install the latest CyanogenMod. Should solve your problem.

It did...kinda. I got past the set up but now the Market crashes and won't let me download apps. Remind me again what's so great about these ROMS?

I got it to work, but I had to downgrade to 4.2.9 to make all the pieces fit. Are these ROMS getting less and less stable?
