rooted/sideload etc why cant i install directly from phone

finally! Using sqlite and just editing the db file right on the phones built in sd worked...one thing this whole process fails to mention is that you have to mount and unmount your phone during this process for some of the command prompts to work, that was th secret the whole damn time. Had to mount at times to get certain ones to respond then had to unmount to get others to respond. some should review this process a bit more cleanly.
