Root Rooted Stock ROM w/ OTA Notification Question

I'm currently rooted (Easy Root) on a stock ROM D1 (2.2 FRG01B) and I receivced an OTA update this morning - most likely FRG22D. I've made a nandroid back up and a ROM backup before I made any changes. So far, I've only removed some of the bloatware from the stock ROM - 5 or 6 programs.

Do I unroot, install the update and reroot? Is it that easy? Or do I have to install one of the backups?

Thanks LNL... One question: OTA update while rooted applies to ALL updates? The OP in the link had a different update. Just confirming.

but if you read down.. you will see I have what you have and I am fine. so yes, this process is the generally accepted process to kill that OTA.

It did kill the OTA but I still have FRG01B. I actually wanted the update to fix a few bugs (well, hopefully). I looked on my SD card and I have this zip file: su-2.3-bin.zip Would this be FRG22D? Something tells me that it isn't and it's 2.3.... Hmmmmmm
