Root Rooting a samsung Moment

can someone help me in the rooting of the samsung monment? I have rooted my htc sprint hero and my friend has a moment and wants me o put 2.2 on his phone, but when I look on the android forum and can not find anything that tells me that you can out froyo 2.2 on that phone. Can I do this

no you cannot. there is no 2.2 available. you can run roms that have bits and pieces of froyo, but not the full build. there is an alpha build of cyanogen mod 6 available, but it's in alpha stage is is far from stable.
