Root Rooting after 2.1

Is it true that after the 2.1 update that you will not be able to root?

I don't think you'll be able to root with what is currently available. People will no doubt start work on rooting 2.1 as soon as it's available though.

Yesit is true. After the 2.1 OTA the current root exploit won't work since it was fixed the DAY AFTER we found it. I'm sure some people will start looking for a new way but keep this in mind, before the current root exploit was found we had been trying everything we could think of and had no luck, and the only reason we got root as quickly as we did is because of a bug in the key signature verification that allowed Zinx to append the su files into the 2.0.1 OTA. Without that we very well may still be trying to root.
