Root Rooting EVO

So I just started rooting my device with Unrevoked3.

Its been an hour and a half and I'm still seeing "Pushing Recovery"

Nothing has changed. My Hero didn't take this long to root with CyanogenMod. Is this normal? I kind of had things I wanted to do besides sit here and wait for my phone all night.

Or worse did something terrible go wrong? I can't even tell if anything is happening on my phone. I'm still getting texts and calls with no issue. But clearly my phone isn't finished- but with Unrevoked you can't tell whats going on.
