Trying to root using Revolutionary's Tool. Has worked up to now but seems stuck. Phone is blank with a picture of the phone and a red triangle with an exclamation point in it. I went ahead and followed the instructions given and a few things seem to be happening, but then right back to the screen wiht the red triangle. Any help is appreciate.

Tool say:

----------
Install Superuser
----------

If the phone is stuck on the white HTC Screen for 20+ seconds, pull the battery, unplug phone, put battery back in, hold volume down and power until HBOOT shows, wait about 7 seconds and select recovery, then plug the phone back in.

Waiting for recovery.....

Waiting for recovery.....

Try flashing in manually.
boot to hboot- down + pwr and hold till the hboot comes up ( unpluged)
then it should search real quick, then select fastboot (now plugin)
if that screen comes up, open a cmd
change the directory "cd c:\" and the foldername adb and fastboot is in
for ex. "cd c:\ root" and it has to be in the fastboot (after hboot)
type "fastboot flash recovery PG05IMG" without quotes and what ever the name is so replace the PG05IMG with the name ex. "NewRom.img"
If you dont have it, download cwm from here: http://download2.clockworkmod.com/recoveries/recovery-clockwork-touch-5.8.0.2-mecha.img
save it to your sd(root of the sd)
it should replace the recovery.
seems you have flashed the recovery wrong.

After all that, if it works, download the superuserSu here: http://downloads.noshufou.netdna-cdn.com/superuser/Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip
transfer to the root of sd card(not by pluging in your phone, as it has no access)
then boot into hboot, then after a few seconds, select recovery. it should boot to cwm(clockwork mod)
now go to install zip from sd card
select the zip and you now have root access.
If you need a rom try searching. Plenty out there.

I'm not sure what directory you're referring to here. Are you talking about the rootkit titled "ThunderboltTool"?

Or are you saying the phone should be mounted as a drive on the PC instead of in "charge-only" mode, and the folder we're looking for is on the phone itself?
