Root rooting

First. I've been thinking about rooting my phone to the 2.2 if its out for the evo and if so can someone please direct me to how i go about it.

Second. How do i find the offical stock rom for the evo.


im not famlier with rooting a phone i did one time with my HTC Touch pro 2 and i tell ya it was nerve recking lol but thanks in advance for your help

Go to the root section. Everything you need you should find stickied there.

Updated to 1.47 and Now unrevoked root say it is done but not really rooted and now wifi tether will not work ( unable to start tethering) Not rooted....HELP anyone---Unrevoked people HELP!!
