Help S3 Menu flex return ribbon. HELP!

I recently replaced the glass screen on my s3, by accidentally i cut the cable/ribbon sensor that is used for the menu and return buttons. I ended up putting the new screen on anyways. Now the lcd screen does not respond to touch. The screen works fine but i cannot do anything since it does not respond when i touch the lcd.
My question is, if i replace this with a new ribbon willl the lcd screen start working again?

Not sure man. Might be worth buying a new digitizer in case you broke that too.
Was it the ribbon below the back button?

Yes it's that ribbon. The screen turns on though

Does the screen respond to touch though?

No it does not that, that's the problem.
