S3 WiFi kills network connection since Jellybean

I've searched and searched and even popped into a 3 store today without joy. Last try at hope before sending my S3 off for a warranty repair.

    Phone: Samsung Galaxy S3
Problem since: Jellybean update just over a week ago
Problem: Loses mobile network when WiFi turned on. Then finds and attaches to the wrong mobile network. Then refuses to connect to my mobile network operator and has to be restarted to get my mobile network connection. My network is 3 UK, it connects to o2 UK even though this is a forbidden network. I have no access to use o2, other than I guess as an emergency service call.
Tried: Playing with so many settings to do with WiFi and mobile, re-scanning for my network, factory reset, starting it with the SIM removed and then restarting with the SIM inserted, removed SD card ... nothing has worked, can't find anything useful online ...

The S3 will stay connected to 3 UK so long as I don't turn on WiFi. It can lose the signal to 3 and not connect to the wrong network, but as soon as I turn on WiFi it grabs hold of o2 UK and will not let of it until I restart the phone :(

Any idea? I'm wondering if this is an antenna, SIM or software mess up problem? I don't think the factory reset did much, other than wiping my data. Also had no joy interacting with Kies either via USB or WiFi so backed everything up the hard way.

    Grateful for any help ...

Same here. Ever since Jelly Bean connecting to wifi kills my mobile connection when it goes to sleep. I've also been seeing my mobile connection drop constantly even without Wifi.

I'm on AT&T in the US so it doesn't sounds like just a 3 issue.

I'm having trouble on Verizon too. I can connect to most networks, but not the wifi at my office. My IT guy doesn't know what the problem is...he has a Galaxy Nexus running ICS. I don't know if it worked before on my S3 before Jellybean, because I bought it on Dec 20th and it updated to Jellybean on my car ride from the Verizon Store to my office.
