s4 issue wondering what may be the issue before buying pieces

whats good android fam so i found a galaxy s4 the screen is cracked and also just black u cant see anything now when its plugged in and i try to turn it on it vibrates and starts up no sounds and even though you cant see anything on the screen or here anything i see the blue little light on the top left near the earpiece that blinks and when i presss the home button on the bottom middle the two side buttons light up any suggestions on what might the phone need???? thanks in advance for any input
