    lol what the fk..??

anyways what's bad about samsung except software support..

the phones are sexy and music quality is way better than other manufacturers. samsung actually makes audio equipment too.

im fully aware about samsung, most of the chips in my computer are made by them :p

samsung hardware for android is not all that great until now. the only thing great about the galaxy was its screen and android itself.

i liked the galaxy just cos it was android and i could mess about, easy to root etc but do not like samsung for their lack of customer support and complete lack and disregard for its user base and communications which in my opinion is an important thing in the smart phone industry.
HTC on the other hand are far more forthcoming even if they are a little slower and producing the updates

    Compared to other 2.1phones;

    Pros:
    - 1st android phone w/ front facing camera (video chat)
    - display
    - 720p videos

    Cons:

Another con is that samsung has already proven that they dont are about android(galaxy). Will they continue with their lousy support?

LG Eve and others have front facing camera

Galaxy S have same procesor like Wave Hummingbird and its most powerful presor in cortex A8 class

4" is too large for my tastes. 1500 mAh is too little, Galaxy barely copes
with it, they should've gone 1800 mAh like with that Bada phone.

Also, Samsung's lack of communication with the user community with
regards to Galaxy puts me off their future phones.

This looks pretty sweet, but its almost worth waiting until q4 2010 when tegra 2 based mobiles come out, the processing power and batterylife will blow away current mobiles.

Damn them, Im tempted to get a Samsung !AGAIN! , Shoot me now. Lol. If my I7500 had had more RAM, I would have said it was a good choice. Apart from the lack of official support and dodgey software... . . . But the Galaxy S looks so good.

Samsung produce some nice hardware on their phones. No doubts about it. However getting the best out of your phone is another story. After my galaxy experience I'll never buy another Samsung phone again. Their support has been shocking. If it wasn't for this forum my phone would have been binned after a month. HTC all the way for me in future!

I'm figuring that by the time my daft contract expires, there's be plenty of desireable handsets to go at.

The whole point of selling my Touch HD + iphone + TouchHD2 was to get a smaller phone with the customisability of android (a great compromise between WM and Iphone OS). Galaxy won for size but lacked support for the software side - which was and still is VERY dissapointing. After seeing other users on this forum AND seeing first hand how crap they're support is - I'm tempted to steer back to HTC (desire looks tempting).

Have you seen how thick that Galaxy S is ?? - Samsung should just stick to the crappy 'normal' phone market and stay out of the smartphone environment until they've got the resources to provide decent support - when someone drops
