    All,

My iphone 3gs was stolen yesterday. I ordered a new Samsung Captivate with AT&T. I have been looking around online and Samsung says that the software that comes with the phone is not compatible with MAC computers and their OS system. Does anybody know anything about this or a work around?

    Regards,
    Rusty

It's very easy. Just go into settings>Applications>Development>and check USB debugging. Then plug your Captivate into the computer and on the notification bar you'll find a USB marker. Click it and it will ask if you want to mount your device. Click mount and you're done :)

Define sync. If you mean your contacts, all you have to do it sync your iPhone up with Address book, export your whole Address book as one Vcard, and import that Vcard using Gmail contacts.
