Hi just purchased Samsung Galaxy Mini and having trouble ending a call. The button to end call disappears and besides switching the phone off altogether I have not found an alternative. Please can anybody advise.

Yes, either do a factory reset in recovery or just flash another firmware for your device using Odin.
