Im in Canada and my service provider is Rogers, however I bought the phone in Hong Kong. At first, I rooted my Galaxy S i9000 so I can remove the stock apps, but I couldnt seem to unroot it so I flashed the firmware. At first it said "failed" so I had to reboot it back into download mode to start the flashing again. I forgot to put on the back cover during the flash and the battery fell out. Now when I turn on my Galaxy S, it stays on the welcome screen where it says "Galaxy S GT-I9000 Samsung" and does not do anything. Is my phone bricked and what can I do to fix it?

I've heard that it's hard to brick the phone. It would be presumptuous of me to suggest that you flash it again since I know little about it, but I don't think you have a lot of options with just 3 keys to press.

    Have you tried anything else?
