Help Samsung Galaxy S2 Not goig into sleep mode

My Samsug Galaxy S2 wont go into sleep mode. When I press the button it will go blank for 2 seconds and then come back on. This is a nightmare because the battery lasts no moe than 3 hours. Has anybody experienced problems similiar to this?

Welcome to the forums Swagmokey! Yes you are not alone. This issue has been reported on just about all S2 models although I have never experienced it myself. One solution suggested over at XDA-Developers site involved downloading an app called AirPush Detector from the play store. Evidently this user Georgie9117's phone was being woken up by ads from freeware apps using Airpush technology. Once he detected and uninstalled them he was back to normal. This may not be your problem but it is a place to start.
