Samsung Galaxy Spica Error message: Can't mount system

    While rerooting (the kernel was already applied)my phone, i was unable to apply the kernel or a custom ROM (Apply zip from SD) as i could not mount the system.
    These are the error messages (Copying files, etc. are removed):

    The problem is that your /system is not ext2 and therefore it cannot be mounted by the recovery. The solution is to convert your /System to ext2 through format (in CWM recovery and in the SamdroidMod one, based on the CWM you have that option). Afterwards you can just install whichever mod you want.
