Help samsung galaxy tab wont connect to kies

I have had my galaxy tab 10.1 for less than six months and I wanted to connect it to kies after the android update, but failed to do so please give me some help

i have lost count how many times i have tried to get along with Kies but I have never actually managed to get it to work as it should. Sadly I had to resort to Itunes, which at least works even if it is somewhat against my principles but with a bit of tinkering and a little program called ITUNES Agent you have all you need to get your non apple product recognised and synced as if it were. Its easy and all for free.
