Support Samsung Market Lockout ?

I hate the stock Contacts on my Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus

Can't adjust fonts, display format sucks, etc...

Researched and saw GO Contacts in the Market, except on my Samsung, that app does not show up. All kinds of themes for the app, just no Go Contacts.
Go Launcher and Task Manager, yes, just no Contacts or Contacts EX.

I can find and download Contacts and EX from my HTC Incredible....

So the question is, does Samsung and other manufacturers lock out apps that they don't want installed on a particular device, simply by noit allowing these apps to sow up in Market ?.

The app's developer may not have a compatible verision for Android 3.x.

Yes, that may well be it. GO Contacts is an Asian developer with the English website not helpful at indicating which Android OS's it supports.

    Thanks for the tip.
