Root [AT&T] samsung note 2 root issues

I have a at&t sgh i317 4.3 I have attempted to root and rec'v the super su icon but I get a message supersu stopped working I also have a shield icon and the message is im not authorized for a change can anyone please give me a workaround im using odin 3 v1.85 and ive tried with 3.07 cf auto root
