To restore data services you will need to do one of the following two options BEFORE flashing
A. You will need to download APN back up and restore from the market and back up your APN settings to get data. Once you boot the new Rom you will need to connect to wifi, download APN backup and restore from the market and restore APN settings.
B. If you have not already, get titanium back up, it's worth every cent. Get APN back up and restore from the market and back up your APN settings. Back up APN back up and restore with Titanium backup. While in Titanium backup and press menu.more.create "update.zip" (i renamed mine to Titanium.zip)
[*] Run Tmobile Roms on your Skyrocket and Tmobile Roms Here
Follow the steps in that link to flash
1. Tmobile Rom of choice
2. Conversion package
3. While still in clockworkmod flash the "update.zip" of Titanium back up
4. Reboot, restore APN back up and restore, restore APN settings.
The steps above are also required for running the current UNOFFICIAL/UNSUPPORTED version of CM7
