Can we upgrade the Android OS version on Samsung y S5360. From Android OS, v2.3.5 (Gingerbread) to Android 4.1, Jelly Bean ??

Hello, No, u can't upgrade ur OS.

Try using Custom ROMS, there are lots of custom modified ROMs for galaxy y and mostly for Gingerbread 2.3.6. google it.

try flashing CREEDS ROM, it has ICS OS.

nope... because of galaxy y hardware limitations.

lets just hope some developers will make jelly bean theme custom rom.
at least we can have a taste of jelly bean...

for now, only g nexus, nexus s, htc one x and soon gs3 will have the jelly bean upgrade.

it's sad, that even some high end android phones cant have it...

No, you cannot as Galaxy Y doesn't have the required specifications to install Jelly Bean.

Isn't this obvious as the Y didn't have required specs to install the previous version, Ice Cream Sandwich?

If you really want to give Jelly Bean a try, I would like to suggest you to try Custom ROMs. It won't satisfy you by the way as it won't make you feel real like.
